What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is a young adult organization sponsored by an international organization called Rotary. These organizations are nonprofit, humanitarian efforts to perform community service and promote leadership development. Members participate in service or volunteer projects based on the six avenues of service.

Peace and Conflict

Maternal and Child Development

Literacy

Water Conservation

Disease Prevention

Economic Development

Rotaract and Rotary encourage one another to follow the four-way test to be a good humanitarian.

1. Is it truthful?

2. Is it fair to all concerned?

3. Is it in goodwill and better friendships?

4. Is it beneficial to all concerned?

Rotaract is an opportunity for students to reach beyond campus and the Fredericksburg community as well as distinguish themselves form their peers in networking and self-development.
